efteling spring 2009

The 1st of May is a day off in Belgium, but not so in The Netherlands. Bottom line: there is almost nothing to do over here and plenty going on over there. With a sunny weather forecast and a days worth of free time we decided that a little trip to the Efteling would make a fine day out. And we decided well.

The weather forecast turned out to be pretty spot on, it just was a little crowdier than we'd expected. We forgot that the 30th of April is a Dutch holiday and many people had made it into one long weekend. A little traffic jam and longer waiting lines were the unfortunate result.
