london - day 2
metro 1
I love the way each metro station has its own look. Like entering a concrete and steel dungeon.
metro 2
Another shot from the same station.
entering soho
Just a few steps from Piccadilly Circus you enter another world. Small streets, high buildings, lots of renovation work going on. Looked a lot like Hong Kong streets to me.
london dungeon
It's difficult taking pictures in the London Dungeon. This is one of the few that came out okay. Cute little rat cage, try to spot the rats.
wax boards - psycho
Wasn't too impressed by all the wax figures, this sign caught my attention though. Not a Hitchcock fan, still a cool thing to see.
wax people - victoria
One of the statues that looked truly convincing. Queen Victory boasting a rather grim and stern look.
wax dungeon 1
The dungeon underneath Madame Tussauds. It's all about darkness, torture equipment and wax corpses.
wax dungeon 2
Another one from the Tussauds vaults. Glad those times are over.
carneby street
A little trip to Carneby street. They have some awesome shops over there, making Antwerp shops look tired and boring.
musical - phantom stage
No photography permitted during the show and break, so made a quick pic of the stage before it started. We had front row seats, which was pretty cool.
hotel view
View of Canary Wharf from our hotel. It looked quite impressive at night, though during the day much of it was hidden in the thick London fog.
