london - day 4
big ben 1 (image 1 of 14)
A few yet rare rays of sunlight. Good timing though, as the sun appeared right after boarding a little sightseeing ship.
victoria station (image 2 of 14)
One of the many stations in London. Liked the design.
big ben 2 (image 3 of 14)
Another shot of the Big Ben and parliament. Apparently a raised flag means they're working over there. A rarity according to our British guide. Funny man.
glass cubes (image 4 of 14)
Lodged in between a much older building and one of those ugly functional 70s designs. Cool stuff, though not very fitting in the overall view.
buckingham square (image 5 of 14)
Buckingham Palace was a downright bore, luckily the square in front of it made up with a nice pic.
froggie (image 6 of 14)
Went to the London Zoo. This fella was the first we saw. Such a happy and generously enjoyable welcome.
treehumper (image 7 of 14)
It does look like he's afraid of heights, the poor thing. Until you see him crawl over the branches. Animals are all fakes.
lizards (image 8 of 14)
Another tree runner. Fast and agile little creature that was showing off his skills when we walked past.
insects = ewwww (image 9 of 14)
I hate insects, but put them behind a glass wall and they are the most fascinating creatures alive. A nice little collection packed on a branch.
not a branch (image 10 of 14)
Always cool when you have to look twice to spot an animal. This is how camouflage is done.
sea star up close (image 11 of 14)
Sea stars look nice from up top, but from the bottom they're one big collection of tubes and tentacles. Blubbery stuff.
final stop 1 (image 12 of 14)
Our last stop in London. Good food, superb cocktails. A little bar nearby Carnaby street, definitely recommended.
final stop 2 (image 13 of 14)
Cocktails, as I was saying ...
going back (image 14 of 14)
The London metro provides good transportation, only during peak hours it gets just a little too busy for my liking.

you'r always tray to find "THE ART" in making a picture. BEAUTIFULL!!
