My Father and My Son

High-speed drama, full of big emotions and large gestures. The film was a smash hit in its home country, but something clearly got lost in translation. The film looks cheap, the acting is atrocious and the drama is extremely schmaltzy. Not the best way to get into Turkish cinema.
