A fun but rather simple Álex de la Iglesia. He is a seasoned black comedy director, so a film like Four's a Crowd isn't really a challenge for the likes of him. Maybe that's why the first half feels a little tepid, but once the ball gets rolling de la Iglesia delivers a fun and kooky little comedy.

Julian is in love with Lorena, a girl 20 years younger. They've been ridesharing for the past 6 months, and Julian finally worked up the courage to confess his love. Despite carefully grooming the other passengers, the new guy turns out to be a young, handsome guy and messes up Julian's plans.

The introduction is a little long, and the plot could've escalated a tad faster, but around the halfway mark the comedy starts to hit the mark. From there on out, there are enough jokes and giggles to make the second half a joy to sit through. Not de la Iglesia's best, but if you're looking for prime comedy filler, this won't disappoint.
