Plot: The film follows a group of young dancers on a three-day dancing retreat, which is supposed to prepare them for a dance battle in the US. On the final day, they organize a party to celebrate their time together, but when it comes to light that someone put something nasty in their drinks, things spiral out of control really fast. Built up irritation and jealousy find their way to the surface, and it doesn't take long for people to turn on each other.

Gaspar Noé and Benoît Debie are finally reunited again. Climax isn't quite as intense as Noé's best films, but it's far more intense that most of the other films out there. A great soundtrack, mad cinematography and a dire descent into madness make this a film that needs to be experienced rather than understood.
