A very basic horror concept, that feels a little lost in the Black Mirror series. I guess the twist at the end makes it a tiny bit more topical, at the same time it seems the writers are struggling to find new and interesting material. It's not a bad horror film though, just don't expect anything too out of the ordinary.

A documentary maker and his girlfriend return home to start work on a documentary. Once there, they hit an old town legend that may be a better fit, especially if they want to make a name for themselves. They start investigating a local serial killer, but they'll dig up more than they bargained for.

The location is nice enough, the horror elements are quite tame, and nothing you haven't seen before. The performances are decent enough and thanks to the short runtime there's not much excess material. The twist's a bit lame and predictable though, and the true crime commentary isn't eye-opening either.
