Song to Song

I get it's supposed to be a visual poem-style film, but it's just way too cheesy. Whispery and pensive voice-overs, idyllic shots of nature and an excessive focus on small but laden gestures. It's like watching a 2 hour healthy lifestyle brand ad with a little narrative thrown in for good measure.
