A long-awaited Conjuring spin-off, but it's too little, too late. The jump scares are poor and the lore is extremely simple. Luckily the location is superb and the acting is decent enough, which makes this film passable. The Nun is okay if you like this sort of thing, but hardly noteworthy for everyone else.
