When you're a former fighter trying to make it big in Hollywood, it seems you need to feature in at least one of these films. You'll be paired up with some random little kid in a silly action comedy that is targeted at younger audiences. Welcome to Dave Bautista's My Spy, a not-so-great film. Peter Segal is a decent enough comedy director, but he can't do much with this material. The action's a bit too gritty, the comedy's too childish, and the mix doesn't work that well. Bautista and Coleman are a solid pairing though, it's just not enough to turn this into a capable film. Forgettable fluff.Read all

Not my favorite Sandler film. I actually prefer Nicholson in slightly more subdued roles, the chemistry with Sandler is somewhat off, performances of the secondary cast are mediocre and the number of jokes that truly land are few and far between. There are a couple of memorable scenes though, just not enough to carry the entire film.

Two old boxing champs get ready for one final match against each other. De Niro and Stallone don't quite cut it any more, whoever thought it was a good idea to throw Kevin Hart in the mix should be fired. The mix of sports drama and comedy simply doesn't work very well here, which makes the entire film a waste of time.
