A film that lives in the shadow of Cannibal Holocaust. Fans of the latter will no doubt be familiar with this one. People who didn't care for Cannibal Holocaust probably never bothered with it. And that's a pretty fair assessment if you ask me. While I liked Ferox just a tad better, the films are very similar. Bland performances and terrible dubbing are par for the course, but the build-up of this film was slightly better. The horror is decent but quite tame by modern standards, and the story in New York felt superfluous and took away from the rest. Not terrible, but there are way better horror films out there. Read all
