Worthy but flawed
A decent stop-motion animation, especially considering its age. The story isn't all that interesting though and once the initial charm has worn off there isn't that much to enjoy, but it's definitely interesting to see what they could accomplish with very limited techniques almost 100 years ago. A fun curiosity, but little more than that.
A loud and childish rendition of the famous Reynard tale. The stop-motion animation is very limited, the voice acting is grating and the soundtrack overbearing. The story itself has been done many times already, often better. It's a film that no doubt was charming back in the day, but has lost pretty much all of its appeal since.
