The funny thing about these streamer films is that when they are somewhat longer and show more ambition (which in itself is pretty commendable), the quality tends to take a small dip. Paper Bride is a fun and solid film, but a shorter, more punchier version of this story would've been even better. The paper bride story is a nice piece of folklore that fits the mystery/horror film genre (it's not the first time I run into it), the cinematography is pleasant and the horror/mystery elements are properly executed. The finale could've been shorter though and the performances aren't the best, but if you're looking for a fun genre exercise, you won't be disappointed. Read all
