Yee is a true HK renaissance man, a guy who lives and breathes cinema. His work as a director is solid and there are few misses in his oeuvre. Not the most distinctive director, but when looking for quality filler he's a great option.

Classic HK street racing flick, a somewhat forgotten niche by now. The film delivers on the promise of the talents involved. With Yee behind the camera and Lau in front of it, this is a solid drama with some slick racing scenes and plenty of fan service for race bike enthusiasts. A tad long maybe, but good fun nonetheless.
A fine romantic drama. The setup, about two very different people who happen to bump into each other and fall in love, is pretty standard for this type of film, but solid performances by Ho and Wong and confident direction by Yee made this into something more. Not Yee's best, but worth a try when you're in the mood for something romantic.
A pretty tepid and basic heist/hostage movie. With Yee in the director's chair and the two Tony Leungs in front of the camera, expectations were slightly higher, but this is just a run-of-the-mill genre film. It's not terrible and the limited runtime definitely helps, but it's far from memorable and lacks any stand-out moments.
